Dr. Willis is a double board-certified plastic surgeon who founded and operates Charlottesville Plastic Surgery & Spa.
Dr. Willis is a native of Savannah, GA and attended The Savannah Country Day School. After graduating Cum Laude from The University of Georgia, he spent a year in Jackson Hole, WY putting the “finishing touches” on his fly fishing skills. He attended Mercer University School of Medicine for his medical degree, where he sat on multiple student council seats. His residency at The University of Virginia comprised of 5 years of general surgery training, a year under a T32 research grant publishing on surgical outcomes, and as elected House Staff President, representing over 780 residents and fellows. He graduated as Chief resident and pursued a fellowship in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at The University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Home to the second busiest cosmetic surgery capitol in the United States, Salt Lake City provided unparalleled exposure to all facets of cosmetic plastic surgery, including extensive breast and body contouring, and the nuances of establishing and running a successful metropolitan private plastic surgery practice.
Dr. Willis’ focus includes cosmetic breast, body and face. With a warm and approachable sensibility, he takes the time to listen to his patients, and tailors each surgical approach with the goal to restore their youthful appearance and confidence. With an eye for finding the unique beauty in each individual, he incorporates modern techniques with a conservative touch, ensuring a timeless beauty in each individual.
