Dr. Rhett N Willis Jr.

Double Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Willis is a double board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Charlottesville Plastic Surgery & Spa. A native of Savannah, Georgia, he attended The Savannah Country Day School before graduating cum laude from the University of Georgia. Following college, he spent a year in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, exploring his passion for fly fishing before pursuing his medical career.

Dr. Willis earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine, where he served in multiple student leadership roles. He then completed his residency at the University of Virginia, which included five years of general surgery training and an additional year of research under a T32 grant, during which he published work on surgical outcomes. During his residency, he was elected House Staff President, representing over 780 residents and fellows. He graduated as Chief Resident before advancing his training.

He went on to complete a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City—one of the busiest cosmetic surgery hubs in the United States. There, he gained extensive experience across the full spectrum of cosmetic procedures, including breast and body contouring, as well as valuable insight into building and managing a successful private practice.

Dr. Willis specializes in cosmetic surgery of the breast, body, and face, with particular expertise in Modern Mommy Makeovers, Rapid Recovery Breast Augmentation, and advanced breast and body contouring. Known for his warm, approachable demeanor, he takes the time to truly listen to his patients and thoughtfully tailors each procedure to their goals. With a refined aesthetic sense and a commitment to subtle, modern techniques, he strives to enhance each individual’s natural beauty while delivering timeless, confidence-restoring results.

Having performed thousands of complex cosmetic breast and body procedures, Dr. Willis is nationally recognized as an expert in his field. With a growing national reputation and multi-state plastic surgery clinics, he now splits his time between Charlottesville, Virginia, and Park City, Utah.
