Male-to-female top surgery is typically performed under general anesthesia in our accredited surgical center. This is a reconstructive breast surgery that can be performed with breast implants or a FLAP reconstruction that builds a breast mound from the patient’s own skin, fat, and muscle. These tissues are taken from the back and abdomen. Recovery

After your procedure, bandages or gauze may be placed on your surgical site. You may need to wear a support bra to minimize swelling and support your new chest contours. Dr. Willis will provide post-surgical instructions on how to care for your healing incisions, how long to take prescription medications, specific concerns to be aware of, and more. Healing will take several weeks, and as swelling decreases results will become more noticeable.
