The Renuva Treatment

Renuva is placed during a quick and easy injection session at our plastic surgeon-owned and operated medspa. The product is carefully injected into the treatment area where it creates a matrix under the skin. This matrix contains growth factors, proteins, and collagens that are naturally found in your own fatty tissue and prompt the body to create new, vascularized fat tissue in the area. Over the next 3-6 months, natural fat is deposited into the matrix where it provides youthful volume. The matrix then fades, leaving behind only your natural tissue.

Recovery

There is very little downtime required after Renuva, although it’s recommended to avoid strenuous activity for the first 24 hours. In order to get best results, you may undergo a series of injection sessions spaced a few weeks apart. You can expect to see results within three months of treatment. Because Renuva makes use of your own natural fat, the results are much more long-lasting than traditional fillers. In fact, some research suggests Renuva can last as much as 10 years.
