Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a great alternative for patients who aren’t quite sure whether they want nose surgery. This injectable procedure will give you subtle rejuvenation to enhance your appearance and help you feel more confident in your look!
What is Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?
Nonsurgical rhinoplasty helps address common aesthetic concerns such as nasal tip droopiness, asymmetry, and dorsal hump. The surgery does not require any cutting or stitches to be made inside the nose. Instead, dermal fillers and injectables are used to restructure and lift the nasal tissues. Non-surgical rhinoplasty can be performed to correct the following concerns:
Nasal Hump
A nasal or dorsal hump is a bump on the top of the nose and many patients desire to get rid of this hump for a smooth and straight nose. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers with a firm substance can be injected around the nasal hump to “hide” its appearance. Dermal fillers will lift the surrounding skin to match the height of your nasal bump, creating the look of a straight nose.
Nasal Tip Irregularities
A nasal tip that has visible grooves or indentations can easily be concealed with dermal fillers. As you age, you may notice your nasal tip changes shape, and this can potentially be corrected with the help of dermal fillers.
Downturned Tip
Some people are born with a downturned tip while others start to develop this drooping look as they age and the skin loses volume. Botox can be used to correct this drooping tip because the botulinum toxin substance temporarily paralyzes and weakens the muscles the pull the tip downward. When injected into the base of the septum, Botox relaxes the muscles and allows the nasal tip to lift subtly.
Slight Asymmetry
If you have an indentation or bump on the side of your nose that creates a crooked appearance, fillers will cover up those indentations to give your nose a smooth contour. However, non-surgical rhinoplasty cannot correct severe crookedness since this will require the bone and cartilage to be repositioned from inside the nose.
How Long Does it Last?
The non-surgical rhinoplasty lasts about six months to a year depending on the products used during your procedure. To maintain your newly enhanced nose, you can receive additional injections once they wear off or, if you love your results, you could consider rhinoplasty surgery to make them permanent.
